Bring the old times bad could be a pain to your very own heart. A few days back, I went to Mandai to celebrate pre-Christmas party with my Uni classmate. If you had been there, you will notice that there is a direct bus from Ang Mo Kio. Met Stella there to buy some stuff before we took the bus down. Walking down shop houses always gives me a very different feeling from the location that I leave. Maybe is the house size, maybe I am too used to living in my own confort zone and forget about other. I hope Not.

Well, this ANG MO KIO have given me lots of memories. One of those memories was of course Miss Australia that left Singapore back to her own country. Rewalking the same lane has made me recall what I have gone through in my phrase of life. Especially when I had to alight at the bus stop near the bridge she once lived. Walking back the same lane, thinking back, looking around for changes. It seems like it's still the same, except the girl once live there wasn't there. When ever I am going through that lane, I am definitly rushing for train. True enough, that was the the situation that happen that faithful day.

Another matter that I remembered was the days I need to travel back to Old Police Academy for my IPPT. Went back a few times. Memeriers was mostly blissful. Enjoying unrecorded time off from work during my NS. Enjoying KFC after the long and dreadful 2.4 run. Alright, it wasn't that long. Nevermind, just focus on KFC.

Ang Mo Kio has been like these to me. How about you ?

What remind you of this heartland ?

Have you ever consider or give a thought what does those big cranes do ? It was pretty obvious for the smaller model, they just dig holes or do minimal lifting and transporting. I witnessed what giant crane does. The movement of the controlled cranes reminds me of transformer, huge and robotic like. Powerful jaws clam the bricks that has been supporting the building and chewing it off effortlessly. The job of tearing the building down has been made easy with those giant machines. After standing and watching the magnificent machines work, I looked around and saw others like me, standing and watched the giant machine tear down the building. I wonder what is going on in their mind. Were they thinking what I am thinking ? Well, that's basically how nice it was, watching machine tear down big buildings. Its a treat to your eyes.

Peace People. (Cool... PP)
